Partial FX composite. We’ll work together to blend you into a poster, screenshot, or other ad print from the character’s universe. We will use the reference image during the photoshoot to emulate the pose and lighting to replicate source material.
Full FX composite that blends different backgrounds, images and effects to create scenes that transports your cosplay into the character’s universe. Before the photoshoot, we’ll work together on developing the concept for each Superhero Edit.
I’m based in Los Angeles and attend many conventions in Southern California. On occasion I will go to conventions in Northern California. I will travel just about anywhere for a shoot. If you’d like to do a photoshoot outside of Los Angeles, please reach out where you would like to do your photoshoot for an estimate of travel fees outside of Los Angeles.
I enjoy and can do other types of photography. Reach out to me if you want to discuss your needs for other types of photography!
Fortunately Southern California doesn’t have many days with bad weather for photoshoots! But sometimes it happens and a little bit of drizzle outside can make for some interesting and unique photos. If you don’t feel comfortable with rain, we can reschedule the shoot.
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images.
No! I strongly believe your final edited photos should be unmarked. If you do make any personal social media posts, I would greatly appreciate mentioning me as your photographer!
You have full rights to use the photos for personal purposes but I retain all copyrights to the photos. If you plan on utilizing the photos for commercial purposes, please let me know, as there is additional paperwork and fees for commercial licensing agreements.
I have an assortment of equipment to use depending on the specifics and requirements of the shoot. For most shoots, I use a Nikon Z6III full-frame mirrorless camera with several different portrait prime and zoom lenses. For shoots that favor a slower paced session, I will use a Fujifilm GFX 100S II medium format mirrorless camera with background melting prime lenses. I also use multiple off camera strobe lights to shape light that best compliments your cosplay concept.
On location or studio sessions have a 50% non-refundable planning payment (and fees for permits or studios if required). Convention sessions have a $25 non-refundable planning payment. The planning payment is not a deposit; it is used to prepare your pose and shot list and also location scout. Balance of the session fee is due when final edited photos are ready.
